QR Ordering Platform

Problem

Romanian restaurant owners were stuck between overpriced enterprise POS systems and pen-and-paper. They needed something simple: a customer scans a QR code, orders, kitchen sees it, done. No training, no hardware investment.

Approach

Started with the owner's workflow, not the tech. Mapped the ordering flow from customer scan to kitchen ticket. Built multi-tenant from day one — each restaurant gets its own menu, branding, and real-time dashboard. Chose Neon for serverless Postgres so tenants scale independently.

Outcome

Working MVP with real-time ordering and kitchen management. Learned that the hardest part of building for restaurants isn't the tech — it's understanding that owners think in covers and table turns, not API endpoints.
